Over 4,500 traffic and enforcement personnel will be on duty for Op Selamat this Hari Raya, said Inspector-General of Police Datuk Seri Abdul Hamid Bador after launching the road safety campaign on Friday.

He said his men will be on the job to ensure traffic flows smoothly and that no one breaks the law, adding that those who think they could outsmart the police should be prepared to receive their summonses in the mail two weeks later.

The IGP also said that motorists should not try to buy their way out of a summons either.

Op Selamat 15 starts on May 29 and ends on June 12.
